Wrote "De Revolutionibus orbium Coetestium" which was the starting point of the scientific revolution.

Died in 1543, May 24.

He was one of the renaissances best polymaths with over 13 assets.

He formulated a Heliocentric Cosmology.

This Cosmology displaced the theory that the Earth was at the center of the Universe.

Made his landmark on the world in astronomy.

Never married or had children

Spoke Latin, Polish, and German fluently, and also Greek and Italian.

Wrote 40 page manuscript called "Commentariolus"


Dedicated his final masterpiece to Pope Paul III
